The Cerulli Report: Latin American Distribution Dynamics 2013 is the eighth edition in a series of annual reports focusing on the distribution and product development trends taking place in the major markets of Latin America. Latin Asset Management, a source of much of the data and commentary featured in this edition, is proud to have once again collaborated with Cerulli Associates on the report.
This 227-page Distribution Dynamics report focuses its attention on the six Latin American countries (Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Argentina) with the largest local asset-management markets, i.e. local mutual funds and local pension funds. All of the firms covered in the report are registered locally, and their products are offered publicly in their respective countries.
This iteration of the report includes many more exhibits relating to institutional-investor holdings of cross-border products. It also includes a focus on three themes that are influencing the prospects for asset gathering in the region:
- the state of Latin America’s private client segment;
- exploring the evolving Brazilian market; and
- private pension system’s growing influence, which is attracting global asset and wealth managers as both new and expanding participants in the market
