Koelle replaced René Boettcher. Salomonde, meanwhile, replaced Zeca Oliveira, one of three executives under the microscope for supposed “irregularities” at the firm. Oliveira and two others were officially dismissed from the company in early December, allegedly in connection with the “irregularities” mentioned above.

Credit Suisse names Pereira as Brazil CEO
Credit Suisse Group named José Olympio Pereira as chief executive of its Brazilian unit, overseeing investment banking, private banking and asset management divisions. He replaces Antonio Quintella.
Pimco to Open Office in Brazil
Pimco will operate in Brazil as PIMCO Latin America Administradora de Carteiras, and will be regulated by the CVM.
Principal buys stake in Claritas
As part of its long-term strategy to boost its presence in Brazil it will buy a 60% percent indirect ownership stake in the Brazilian mutual fund manager.
Aberdeen has been appointed investment adviser to the Credit Suisse Equity Fund Brazil and Bond Fund Brazil
The equity strategy will be managed by Devan Kaloo, head of Global Emerging Markets, while the bond strategy will be managed by Brett Diment, head of Emerging Market Bonds.
