JP Morgan to sponsor two additional PIMCO ETFs
The new PIMCO ETFs, PIMCO 0-5 Year High Yield Corporate Bond Index Fund (HYS) and PIMCO 25+ Year Zero Coupon US Treasury Index Fund (ZROZ), are listed on the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores in pesos and trades can be initiated through a local broker.

iShares recovers leadership among AFPs
In December iShares received investments of over USD1 billion. Axel Christensen, executive director for South America (ex Brazil) of BlackRock, pointed to the strong interest in increasing exposure in assets and regions with higher risk-return, in markets other than the USA.
Pension fund portfolios ended 2012 with innovations
In December flows to international funds and ETFs stalled, but there was significant movement of portfolios toward equity in emerging markets and Asia. Fixed income funds are losing ground.
BlackRock to buy Credit Suisse ETF arm
Upon completion of the deal iShares – BlackRock’s ETF arm – will run 264 ETFs with USD157.6 billion.
Credit Suisse to sell European ETF business
Credit Suisse Group has put its USD17.2 billion European exchange-traded fund business up for sale.
