Dominik Rohe had been working with BlackRock in New York, where he served as a managing director and head of institutional and wealth for the Latin America and Iberia region.
In the year through June, the industry recorded net sales of BRL 38.1 billion (USD 14 billion), 29.5% more than in the same period last year, led by the Fixed Income and Pension funds.
BB DTVM's major partners are BlackRock, Nordea, JP Morgan and Schroders, who represent more than 70% of total AUM of its international products, said Ricardo Forni, product manager.
Exposure to emerging-markets climbed to 15%, up from just over 10% in December 2015, benefiting iShares and Fidelity. Henderson also scored a major allocation in the Euro segment.
