Columbia Threadneedle’s Joseph Sweigart said his firm is teaming with independent manager Rio Bravo Investimentos to launch a Brazilian-domiciled European-equity fund targeting Brazil’s corporate-pension market.
Mirae’s Brazilian arm to launch local feeder investing in Asia ex-Japan
Jorge Sierra, director at Mirae Asset in Brazil, said the Korean firm will attack both institutional and individual investors with the launch. The local feeder invests in the USD 700 million Mirae Asia Great Consumer fund, whose benchmark is the MSCI Asia Ex-Japan index.
